Established in 2012, AR&E Strategies designs, develops, launches, and manages global applied research and higher education enterprises or projects.  AR&E works on its own initiative and on behalf of clients or investors.

In July 2019 Bruce Guile, the Managing Member of AR&E, joined the board of the BRG Institute in Emeryville, California and agreed to lead a multiyear policy and management research project on global knowledge networks in science and engineering. He also accepted a position as a visiting scholar at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Dr. Guile will maintain a small number of independent consulting clients and, when the work requires a team, will organize projects through the Berkeley Research Group.
