The Washington Advisory Group advises leaders to help them clearly define the roles, relationships, and accountability of their research organizations and improve their overall leadership effectiveness. Often this advice is given informally as part of a client relationship. Sometimes it is a follow-on activity to a strategy engagement. Once a new strategy has been developed, the leader’s job is to create the appropriate organizational structure to implement it, including well-defined Board and staff roles.

The Washington Advisory Group can help CEOs develop strategies for communicating effectively with Board members and senior staff. We can also help Board members work more effectively with the CEO. We occasionally help organizations in crisis management and change-of-leadership situations. While we are not a search firm, we work closely with executive recruiters.
